Does the RV Surge Protector 50 Amp Work?

If I purchase this surge protector for 50 amps then come to a campsite that's 30 amps just, can I use an adapter to plug in the 50-amp surge protector into the 30-amp socket? I really do not wish to purchase both a 30-amp along with also a 50-amp surge protector, but I truly don't wish an issue.
